
Cancer screenings have been missed and crimes misrecorded because of a gradual loss of data on biological sex, an independent review has found.
The report, led by Professor Alice Sullivan from University College London, found biological sex and gender identity have been used interchangeably in administrative and survey records for public bodies across the UK since 2015.
