Campaigners urge King Charles to intervene as London’s oldest Indian restaurant faces closure

Campaigners battling to save Britain's oldest surviving Indian restaurant plan to deliver a petition to Buckingham Palace calling on King Charles to intervene.

Veeraswamy, which opened in 1926 and still operates from its original Regent Street location, faces closure after its landlord, the Crown Estate, refused to renew its lease.
