A frustrated customer in Southern California allegedly sparked a group walkout at a local Chipotle, turning a standard lunch run into a moment of collective protest over portion sizes. Reddit User CheeseTamalezz shared the ordeal on the Chipotle subreddit and in the process, thoroughly entertained the Reddit community.
According to the Redditor, the sequence of events began with a menu item that had yet to be restocked. “I was in line for a honey chicken bowl, and they were out. No problem, I waited the 10 minutes they told me. Soon enough, two older ladies sat next to me and waited for the same chicken,” he noted. However, when he finally placed his order, he claimed, “The young kid who was making my bowl scooped such a small amount of chicken that I got annoyed immediately.”
