- The Caledonian Sleeper train has unveiled a dramatic new look, with four coaches adorned with designs capturing key moments from the popular television series Outlander .
- The “visual takeover” aims to inspire fans to visit the Scottish locations where the series was filmed, encouraging travel via the overnight service connecting London and Birmingham with Scotland.
- Outlander star Sam Heughan, who portrays Jamie Fraser, was present at London Euston station to reveal the newly decorated train.
- The initiative, a collaboration between VisitScotland and Sony Pictures Television, will also feature an Outlander -inspired menu on board, including Sam Heughan’s whisky, The Sassenach.
- The launch comes ahead of World Outlander Day on 1 June and coincides with the series finale this month.
