A motorist has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a horror two car crash in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the A96 between Huntly and Keith at around 9.15am on Wednesday.
The road has been locked down by accident investigators while a man was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
Motorists are being warned to use a diversion that has been put in place.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.15am on Wednesday, 16 February, police were called to the A96 near Huntly, following a two-vehicle road crash.
“The road is currently closed in both directions and local diversions are in place. One man has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.”
