Burger King chicken and vegan Royale slashed to £1.99 all week thanks to Queen's Jubilee

A fan favourite menu item is set to be reduced at Burger King this week, to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The Chicken Royale will be slashed to £1.99, down from £4.79.

The week-long offer launched today (May 30), but will only be available to customers who order via the Burger King app before June 5.

The Royale, which is one of Burger King’s most iconic burgers, consists of tasty chicken wrapped in a special crisp coating, topped with iceberg lettuce, creamy mayo and crowned with a toasted sesame seed bun.

Though those looking for a meat-free option can swap the offer for a £1.99 Vegan Royale instead, but it can’t be used in conjunction with any other offer.

However, the fun doesn’t stop there as the chain has also launched limited-edition Crowns to help fans celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee in style. Designed by British artist Toby Triumph, the iconic Burger Crown has been reimagined with 26 unique hand-drawn illustrations – each representing milestones from Her Royal Highness’ 70-year reign as well as Toby’s own experience of growing up in the UK.

From “All You Need is Love” in the 60s to “Girl Power” in the 90s, the Jubilee Crown captures the cultural melting pot of Great Britain over the years. The Crown also gives a nod to the NHS heroes, British landmarks and the three-wheeled Robin Reliant.

Fans can get their hands on a free Jubilee Crown in Burger King restaurants nationwide from Wednesday, June 1, 2022, as well as at parades across London and Windsor, in time for street parties and celebrations.

You can download the Burger King app via Google Play here or App Store here.
