Fast food giant Burger King has announced the return of a fan-favourite burger, with a tasty offer to go with it. From tomorrow (June 10) to Sunday, June 12, fans will be able to bag the cheesy bacon single in a buy one get one free deal.
Part of the Cheesy Bacon Lover range, the burgers were removed from menus last year after customers were ‘too embarrassed’ to say ‘lover’ at the restaurant tills.
The range includes the flame-grilled Cheesy Bacon Single, made with a beef patty, and the Cheesy Bacon Chicken Single. And to encourage shoppers to keep it on the menu, Burger King have launched a two-for-one offer via their app - so they can avoid a red-faced moment at the checkout.

The Cheesy Bacon Single boasts a 100 per cent beef burger topped with four slices of bacon, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, BBC sauce, cheese sauce and two American cheese slices in the middle, while the Cheesy Bacon Chicken consists of crispy chicken, American cheese slice, bacon, onion, lettuce and not one, but two layers of cheese sauce.
A single Cheesy Bacon Lover burger can be claimed on the app with the purchase of any burger in the Cheesy Bacon Lover range from June 10 to June 12.
For those not quick enough to secure themselves a free burger – fear not. The Burger King app features countless value offers all year round including the newly launched Big King, Little King bundles.
As part of this new offering, guests can opt for a classic Burger King meal and kids meal and 6-piece side for £9.99 or a Burger King meal, Whopper Junior with regular fries and 6-piece side for £10.49.
