Broncos-Bengals a candidate to be flexed to Saturday in Week 17

The Denver Broncos only have two initially scheduled prime-time games on their 2024 schedule, but more could be added through flex scheduling this fall.

Sunday Night Football games are flexible from Weeks 5-17, Monday Night Football contests are flexible from Weeks 12-17 and Thursday Night Football games are flexible from Weeks 13-17. The NFL also has dates and times TBD for every game in Week 18.

Additionally, the Broncos are one of 10 teams in the running to play on Saturday in Week 17, according to ProFootballTalk.com. The league will have a tripleheader of games on Saturday, Jan. 28 ahead of Sunday’s bigger slate of games on Jan. 29.

Denver is set to go on the road to face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17 at Paycor Stadium. The three games picked for the Saturday lineup will be nationally televised on NFL Network.

So far, the Broncos’ only two prime-time games scheduled are a road TNF showdown with the New Orleans Saints in Week 7 and a home MNF clash with the Cleveland Browns in Week 13.
