Britain's luckiest puppy survives falling out of owner's car window at 30mph

An adorable dog has made a miraculous recovery after falling out of a moving car at just three-months-old, shattering her back and almost losing her tail. One-year-old Peggy, a Patterdale terrier, also fractured her legs after jumping out of owner Jane Brady’s vehicle on a main road when trying to look out the window.

Jane, 55, said Peggy scraped all the skin off her front when she fell out at 30mph, but she is now set to take part in a charity walk - of nearly 100 miles after a miraculous recovery. She said: "Peggy is nuts, absolutely nuts. Her brother Kenny had accidentally rolled the automatic window down and she jumped up to have a look.
