Britain's Got Talent viewers left furious by 'annoying' screeching during live show

Britain's Got Talent viewers were distracted by an 'annoying' screeching sound throughout Thursday's show.

As the semi-finalists took to the stage and performed with the hope of securing a place in the final, viewers were voicing their frustrations about what was happening off stage. Many struggled to concentrate on the ITV show due to a loud audience member who was heard "screaming her head off" during the live show.

While the audience cheered, the individual's scream stood out as the loudest, prompting a number of viewers to voice their frustration about it on social media. One person wrote: "Who TF is doing all the screeching in the audience?!!"

Another added: "Is there someone in the #BGT audience literally screaming her head off all during this live show? Can be heard over everyone else!!" While a third said: "Can the annoying person screaming in the audience plz shut up"

Others asked for someone to tell the audience member to be quiet. One person wrote: "You would've thought that by now, whoever that screamer is sat with or near would’ve have told them to shut up by now! #BGT"

"Please, somebody gag that screaming person. #BGT", another said.

During Thursday's semi-final show, acrobatic act Duo Odyssey and opera singer Malakai Bayoh were granted a place in the final. It means there's only two more places up for grabs in the final, with acts competing for the last remaining spaces in tomorrow's Britain's Got Talent at 8pm.
