Thomas Tuchel has confirmed he has a full compliment of his players to choose from for the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool, outside of Ben Chilwell, who remains out for the season.
The Blues had concerns over four players going into the fixture but Reece James made his long-awaited return to Chelsea training on Thursday afternoon after being out with a hamstring injury he suffered against Brighton in December.
Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech both undertook recovery work with the rest of Chelsea's starting XI on the same afternoon, despite needing to be substituted in the win against Lille in the Champions League.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has missed Chelsea's last two matches due to a sore Achilles, but along with the players above was involved in training on Friday ahead of the match against Liverpool.
Tuchel said: "We had training today with everyone out on the pitch except for Ben Chilwell which is brilliant news and this is pretty much it. Both okay, since today.
"They were not only on the pitch with separate programmes, everybody joined team training from the first to the last minute. We have no reactions at the moment but positive reactions.
"I hope it stays like this, we have another training tomorrow and everybody available for Sunday."
The length of James' absence has of course provide some concern over whether he is fit enough to feature at Wembley.
It is not something Tuchel is yet certain of, but there's a possiblity he could be 'crazy' enough to use the wing-back after his displays in training.
Tuchel said: "Very, very good question. Even if I wanted to, I'm not sure I could answer right now. He looked brilliant in the last two training sessions.
"Let's wait another session and see if I'm crazy enough to put him on the pitch or if the reasonable side of me wins and we just go step by step. It would be a huge step but honestly, yesterday and today he looked so strong and confident in training that you are tempted to do it.
"Let's see, we have time and the most important for him and for us is that he's back and feels so confident that he can step up to this level. Still two days to go and then we will take the decision.
