Graham Potter has confirmed Reece James will miss Chelsea's trip to Leicester City because of illness.
James played the full 90 minutes on Tuesday as the Blues knocked Borussia Dortmund out of the Champions League but he didn't train today (Friday) and will not travel with the squad. Potter also confirmed Raheem Sterling has a tight hamstring and is a doubt and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will miss the game with a back problem.
"Reece has been ill, he hasn't trained today, so he won't make the game," the Chelsea head coach told reporters at Cobham. "Raheem has a feeling in his hamstring, more tight than anything, so he's a doubt. Aubameyang has a slight problem with his back, so he won't make it. Apart from that, everyone is okay."

Potter also confirmed N'Golo Kante needs more time and will not be in the squad. "No, he won't," Potter replied when asked if Kante will travel to Leicester. "He still needs more time. We're aiming maybe for Everton but not tomorrow."
Another player who won't be going to the King Power Stadium is Mason Mount. The England international has been sidelined since the defeat to Tottenham recently with a lower abdomen problem and won't make Saturday's game.
"He probably needs a little bit more time [before returning from injury]," Potter said on Mount. "He is happy around the place and wants to help the team, that is normal with Mason. He wants the team to win, be injury free, and play football."
Chelsea should go to Leicester full of confidence after their impressive victory against Dortmund on Tuesday. Potter will be hoping his side can secure three consecutive wins for the first time this year.
