A boy who was sexually assaulted multiple times by a woman says he feels "dirty and angry" because of how she took advantage of him.

A 26-year-old NSW Central West woman has been sentenced to four years and four months' jail for multiple counts of sexual intercourse with a person aged between 10 and 14.

With a finding of special circumstances and need for rehabilitation, she was given a non-parole period of two years and two months.

The court heard the boy was aged 12 at the time of the first incident.

Leading up to the offence, the court heard the woman, who legally can't be named, told him that she "couldn't wait" until he was older and said "you're mine when you're 18".

The first incident occurred, when the boy was asleep on a mattress in a home and woke to the woman kissing him.

A few months later, the boy was at home when the woman knocked on his bedroom window and asked him to let her in.

He thought she was intoxicated and let her in before he went back to his bed.

The court heard the woman followed him and undressed herself, put her arms around him and said she was "going to take the opportunity".

Despite asking her to stop, the woman raped him.

On two other occasions, the court heard the woman had driven him to motels, where she raped him.

Following an almost two-year investigation, the woman was arrested at a Central West NSW home, where she spent one night in custody.

Last year, the woman pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual intercourse with a person aged 10 and 14, and two counts of aggravated sexual assault and indecent assault with a victim under the age of 16.

'I find it hard to trust'

A victim impact statement from the boy was read out in court by his mother.

He said the woman's secretive relationship with him caused him to miss out on being a child or teenager.

"I can't read or write properly. I wasn't in the right place, I wasn't in the right headspace for school," the statement said.

"I lost all my friends. I drifted away from my family because of how secretive she made me be. I have anger issues toward women, I feel dirty and angry I was taken advantage of."

Judge Karen Robinson accepted the woman was still reasonably young and had expressed remorse.

She also recognised that she had a number of underlying mental health conditions.

The court heard the woman also had a background of intergenerational trauma, where she was exposed to domestic violence, drugs, alcohol and neglect.

Judge Robinson also found the woman had been positively engaging in her treatment, which would likely be interrupted in custody.

However, the judge also noted the serious nature of the offending, and that the woman had exploited the boy's trust over a prolonged period of time.

The woman will be eligible for parole in June 2025.
