Boy's life changed forever as speeding driver drives through red light

The moment a schoolboy was hit by a disqualified driver and had his life changed forever has been released by police.

Dylan Hunt was just 15 when he was hit by a black Vauxhall Astra, driven by then 20-year-old Robert Titterington on January 29, 2020. Earlier this week a court heard that the now 18-year-old victim "is no longer the same boy" after he began to cross the St Helens Linkway at the junction with Elton Head Road on his way to Sutton Academy.

He made it past the first lane, narrowly making it across the second lane as a speeding Peugeot 206, driven by Pamela McAdams, drove towards him before he was hit by Titterington who had speeded across the traffic light controlled junction between 64 and 66mph.
