Boy, 8, dies three days after catching Covid and left struggling to breathe

A 'fun-loving' pupil died three days after testing positive for Covid, with the virus leaving him struggling to breathe.

Jasper Bryan Cook, 8, came home from school feeling unwell on January 17 and tested positive for the virus the next day.

His mum, Kim, from West Yorks, said her healthy son was "a little sick" in the days that followed, reports the Mirror.
