A toddler who was critically injured in a dog attack at a Worcestershire home has now tragically died, police have now confirmed. The two-year-old lad was left with grave injuries just after 11 am on Monday, March 28 in the incident in the hamlet of Egdon, between Peopleton and Worcester.
West Mercia Police say the boy was moved to Birmingham Children's Hospital for specialist treatment on the evening of the incident. But he has now tragically succumbed to his injuries and passed away today, Birmingham Live reports.
Superintendent Rebecca Love, local policing commander for South Worcestershire, said this afternoon: "We have been informed this morning that the young boy who was injured in an incident on Monday in Egdon, Worcestershire has sadly passed away.
