Eddie Hall has been criticised for his gameplan in his fight with Thor Bjornsson as fans questioned what he had been working on in the gym.
Hall and Bjornsson had been preparing for the best part of two years - and had an extra six months when the Englishman pulled out of their original date last September. And while Hall started the fight well, he quickly faded and was dropped in the third and sixth rounds before losing on points.
The beaten man posted a video to social media in which he failed to acknowledge Bjornsson's success, and fans were quick to criticise him. "Shocked by how poor your game plan was Eddie, as a fan it was hard to watch you get beaten so comprehensively," one wrote.
Another asked: "What the heck were you training for two years? Definitely wasn't boxing... worst I've ever seen."
Hall and Bjornsson had traded trash talk all week with the former particularly vocal - and some fans were disappointed he didn't back it up in the ring.
"You were a big mouth this whole year and a half and didn't deliver what you said," one said. "Win or lose, you were not out for blood. Big disappointment on your part."
Another added: "Disappointed to say the least; all that talk and you stand sideways looking for a bomb. What training have you had because that was awful."

And yet another fan said: "Embarrassment... all that hype and s*** talking for nothing, plus two years of boxing training... what the hell was your 'technique'?"
Bjornsson also aimed a dig at Hall's technique when he posted a video of the second knockdown to social media. "I guess technique DOES matter. Who knew," Bjornsson wrote.
Both men appeared open to a rematch in the immediate aftermath with Hall saying: ""It's been a hell of a journey; I've enjoyed it and hopefully there's a rematch and we can do business again." And Bjornsson added: "If he wants a rematch I'll take one no problem."
