B&W's new headphones are a stellar offering. Their build quality is second to none, they sound superb and their feature set is future-proofed. And with more features – like spatial audio – coming soon, they're only going to get better. Pricey, but worth it.

Bose's QC Ultra are still the best noise-cancelling headphones you can buy, but they're trumped in other areas. They feel less premium than the B&W, don't have as extensive a feature set and don't sound as good, but if noise cancellation is your priority, these are the cans for you.
For
- Excellent folding design
- Rich, full-bodied sound
- Currently the cheaper option
- Noise cancelling remains class-leading
Against
- Not sonically at the Px7 S3's level
- 24-hour battery life lags behind rivals
