U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 50 points on Friday.

Shares of The Boston Beer Company, Inc. (NYSE:SAM) rose sharply during Friday's session after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter EPS results and issued FY25 EPS guidance with its midpoint above estimates.
