Line of Duty's crack trio have reunited to grill Boris Johnson in a new spoof episode.
A viral video shows Superintendent Ted Hastings, DI Steve Arnott and DI Kate Fleming of AC-12 - the main characters of the hit BBC police corruption drama - tearing into the prime minister over allegations that he and his staff partied in Downing Street during the coronavirus lockdown.
The video was created by the political campaign group Led By Donkeys, which is known for criticising the government.
It was also tweeted by Line of Dury creator Jed Mercurio, who described it as "brilliant work".
The 4-minute clip shows Mr Johnson superimposed into the infamous interrogation room, where he is questioned over alleged rule-breaking.
The PM is told: "During lockdown people had to cancel their weddings, they were kept from visiting sick relatives, people couldn't gather to bury their loved ones. Families were separated, people were making incredible sacrifices."
Superintendent Hastings tells him: "Not you. Oh no. You partied."
The detectives questioning is interspersed with real clips of the PM defending himself over the allegations.
In one, he explains that the allegations are subject to the inquiry by Sue Gray.
The video ends with Superintendent Hastings telling him: "If you've got one shred of compassion for all those families who sacrificed so much, who lost so much, you'll go. And let them have done with you."
Mr Johnson is facing mounting pressure to resign as allegations of rule breaking in Downing Street pile up.
At least six of his own MPs have publicly called on him to step down as his popularity plummets in the latest opinion polls.
