Boots shoppers go wild over 'non-greasy' £20 SPF moisturiser which leaves skin 'glowing'

Boots shoppers and skincare buffs alike have been going wild over a cheap and cheerful moisturiser, which lasts longer than the average and doesn't leave behind a greasy and gloopy white residue. And as well as acting as a skin-plumping moisturiser, the L'Oreal Revitalift Clinical SPF50+ Invisible Fluid also protects from harmful UV rays - perfect as a sunscreen replacement amid the humid and sticky weather as of recent.

Selling at Boots for a price point of just £19.99, the L'Oreal Paris product only comes in at 50ml - but shoppers have detailed how the small container packs a punch, citing how 'a little goes a long way'.

Racking up a very impressive 4.7 out of five star review online - with 270 shoppers giving it the full five, the well-priced fluid offers advanced UV protection at a very high SPF 50. It is also said to prevent signs of ageing induced by UV rays, such as dark spots, wrinkles and uneven tones.

Containing antioxidants like vitamin c, the moisturising product claims to prevent photoaging and oxidative stress brought on by infrared and pollution - while boosting and replenishing moisture with Glycerine and Hyaluronic Acid. Many shoppers have also raved about how the moisturiser fails to leave behind a sticky finish, as some skin creams and tanning lotions often do.

Of the product, one reviewer, wrote: "Sinks in quickly, no residue or whiteness. Doesn’t leave my skin sticky. Great pocket size," while another, added: "Very good no sticky residue left behind like other sun creams."

A third, penned: "This is the first SPF50+ lotion that I have ever used on my face which hasn't felt hot and sticky. It's totally invisible too - great!" while a fourth, continued: "I have used a more expensive spf cream and thought i would try this i really like it and have to say lovely lightweight cream only small amount needed a little goes a long way."

Others have also praised the L'Oreal product for not flaring up acne in those who are prone to it, detailing how they have a 'hard time' finding Acne-friendly products. One said: "I really have a hard time finding Acne prone skin friendly face creams, and this is one that hasn’t provoked clogged pores on my face. And sun protection is great. So 100% satisfied."

Another meanwhile, wrote: "I’ve had this product for about 2 months and it smells amazing and it leaves NO WHITE-CAST which is something I struggled with in spfs it melts into my skin seamlessly and leaves no sticky feeling and it dosnt weigh down my face! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND - I have acne prone and sensitive skin and this product didn’t burn or irritate my skin and also I’ve had no breakouts."

Others meanwhile were just happy to find a moisturiser and SPF combination which does exactly what it says on the tin. One happy customer, added: "Lovely smooth matte application. No oil or grease. A little goes a long way. I will definitely be purchasing more for our holiday later this summer," while another, raved: "Soaks in beautifully and very lightweight SPF. Goes well under make-up too."

Not all shoppers were convinced by the L'Oreal Paris product though, with a couple complaining about the 'strong' fragrance and how runny it seemed when applying. Others of course complimented the scent though, so it all depends on personal taste.

For those who want to find the product elsewhere at a cheaper rate, LOOKFANTASTIC currently have it on sale for just £10, while rival Superdrug are flogging it for £19.95.

The L'Oréal Revitalift Clinical SPF50+ Invisible Fluid can be found on Boots online for just £19.99.
