The Boomers have locked in a pre-Olympic date with a full-strength United States basketball team as their path to Paris takes shape.
Bronze medallists in Tokyo three years ago, Australia will face a US outfit spearheaded by superstars LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry on July 15 in Abu Dhabi, before clashing with Serbia the following day.
Two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic is likely to suit up for Serbia in the second of what will be important fixtures for Brian Goorjian's side before they face a stacked Canada and potentially Spain, Greece or Slovenia in a tough Olympics pool later that month.
The Boomers will also join the Opals - as well as Australia's 3x3 and wheelchair national teams - for games in Melbourne from July 2-5.
The Opals and Boomers will play China twice each, while Japanese teams will face the other four sides at John Cain Arena.
These games will be used to determine the final 12-player Opals and Boomers squads for the Paris Games after extended groups were selected earlier this month.
