The body of a man has been discovered in Cumbernauld.
Emergency crews, including the Scottish Ambulance service, rushed to the scene on Millcroft Road after the alarm was raised around 7.30am on Saturday morning. Sadly the man was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Police are currently not treating the death as suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal. The age of the man remains unknown so far.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 7.30am on Saturday, 23 July, to a report of a concern for person in the Millcroft Road area of Cumbernauld.
“Emergency services attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious and, as with all sudden deaths, a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Locals had reported the area around the Nisa store on Millcroft Road had been taped off by officers this morning.
