Police have confirmed that the body of a woman has been recovered from water in Linwood.
The discovery was made by officers around 5:35pm this evening (February 24).
Formal identification has yet to take place, however, Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Police Division say that the family of Harshita Gottipatti have been informed.
The 38-year-old was reported missing from the Millarston area of Paisley on Tuesday of this week.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Police confirm that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
