The driver of a black car fled after crashing into a stationary vehicle during rush hour.
Merseyside Police were called at 4.10pm on Thursday, February 2, following reports of an incident on Little Crosby Road, near the junction of Miller Avenue, in Crosby. Once officers got to the scene they were told the driver of a black car drove away after crashing into a Volkswagen that was stationary on the road.
The driver of the Volkswagen was in the car at the time and sustained a slight injury. The road was partially closed while officers conducted enquiries.

A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "We received a report of a fail to stop road traffic collision in Little Crosby earlier this afternoon. At around 4.10pm, it was reported that a driver of a black car collided with a stationary Volkswagen on Little Crosby Road and failed to stop at the scene.
"The driver of the Volkswagen sustained a slight injury."
