Black-owned bank launches debit card to help single mothers break poverty cycle

One of the United States' few Black-owned banks is launching a new debit card aimed at helping single mothers in government-subsidized housing escape poverty.

Redemption Bank introduced the 'Bank King Card' Friday, in honour of Juneteenth, pledging to donate from every account opened to non-profit organizations that will support needy families.
