Crypto derivatives and copy trading platform Bitget announced a ‘Crypto Experience Day’ program, in collaboration with partnering universities and blockchain organizations.
The event, scheduled for Aug. 12, coincides with “International Youth Day” and will be hosted in nine countries and regions, including Japan, Argentina, Australia, Dubai, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Nigeria, Canada, and India.
Tech-savvy millennials and Gen Z will play a vital role in promoting crypto adoption, according to Bitget managing director Gracy Chen.
“As pioneers in the crypto derivatives and copy trading industry, Bitget is committed to fostering a crypto-positive global perception of decentralized technologies. Through our Blockchain4Youth project, we strive to empower young talents, inspiring them to lead and innovate within the blockchain space,” Chen said.
Millennials make up 46% of crypto enthusiasts and are more familiar with the internet and digital technologies than older generations, she explained.
“With this global event, attendees can look forward to a hands-on experience, gaining comprehensive insights into the crypto industry and exploring the abundant opportunities it holds for their future careers,” Chen added.
The Crypto Experience Day is part of Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth charity project, which was launched in May. The project aims to cultivate young talents and foster a positive global perception of decentralized technologies, thereby encouraging their mass adoption.
The company believes that this demographic will play a crucial role in promoting crypto adoption.
Therefore, Bitget aims to inspire and encourage these young individuals, who are the backbone of the future world, to join and follow the wave of crypto early.
The inaugural Blockchain4Youth event, Crypto Experience Day, aims to offer a comprehensive understanding of the crypto industry to its participants. It will provide unique insights into the sector’s human resource landscape and showcase the opportunities young professionals can explore within the industry.
The events will include a keynote speech, ice-breaking session, quizzes, and hands-on practices.
Attendees will also be given a detailed explanation of internal operational procedures within Bitget and Bitget Wallet, providing them with a real-world glimpse into the workings of a crypto industry environment.
They will also gain hands-on experience in crypto, such as setting up a blockchain wallet, making a transaction on the blockchain, and creating an NFT.
