Australian golfer Scott Hend has a share of the lead after the opening round of the Champions Tour's Principal Charity Classic in Iowa.

The in-form Hend and American George McNeill ‌each shot a seven-under-par 65 at Wakonda Club in Des Moines on Friday (local time) and will take a one-shot lead over four players ‌into the weekend.
