The Tennessee Titans took part in the second-to-last session of mandatory minicamp on Wednesday before they wrap things up on Thursday. After mandatory minicamp, Tennessee will have four days of organized team activities before taking a break prior to training camp in late July.
There weren’t a ton of notable things from Wednesday. Kevin Byard was out there again, but he did not speak to the media other than to say he’ll be fielding questions on Thursday.
That should be interesting for obvious reasons, as Byard will certainly face questions about his refusal to take a pay cut and where that might leave things between himself and the team moving forward.

Kristian Fulton was one of the players who did not take part in practice. When asked if Fulton might be hurt, Mike Vrabel wasn’t having it and refused to answer the question, so there’s that.

Treylon Burks stands out

Burks had a solid day on Wednesday, catching two touchdown passes, including one he wrestled away from cornerback Roger McCreary in the end zone. Burks looks like a different player on the practice field, and he sounds like a different one in his media availabilities as well. Burks said his confidence is through the roof, and it looks like it.

Throwing go routes up the sideline against air, both Malik Willis and Will Levis couldn’t calibrate and seemed uncomfortable.
These should be automatic. Too many short that slowed targets and too many overthrows.

Defensive back Eric Garror broke up a Willis pass intended for rookie tight end Josh Whyle, and defensive back Chris Jackson had perhaps his best day this offseason, and his day included some good coverage on Burks in a red zone period.
