President Joe Biden expressed confidence in Vice President Kamala Harris' ability to debate former president Donald Trump during a press briefing at Joint Base Andrews on Thursday. This comes after the announcement that the two candidates have agreed to participate in at least one debate next month.
When asked about his confidence in Harris' debating skills against the GOP nominee, Biden initially seemed to not hear the question before responding affirmatively, stating, 'Yes, I am, as long as you keep him talking!'
Following his remarks, President Biden boarded Air Force One for New Castle, Delaware.
