NEW DELHI: India sealed a dominant 3-0 ODI series sweep over England with a commanding 142-run victory in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Shubman Gill led the charge with a sparkling 112 off 102 balls, propelling India to 356 after being sent in to bat. England started strong in their chase but collapsed to 214 all out in 34.2 overs after Arshdeep Singh struck early.
The white-ball series saw India assert their superiority, following a 4-1 win in the T20Is. With the Champions Trophy set to begin on February 19 in Pakistan and Dubai, the team looks in fine form.
