An Ayrshire cafe has been rated as one of the best restaurants in the world according to Tripadvisor.
Round Island Cafe is in the top 10 per cent of eateries around the globe, the travel company has announced.
Tripadvisor gives Travellers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers and are ranked within the top 10 per cent of properties on Tripadvisor.
The Millport eaterie is now among the coveted list of the best restaurants the world has to offer, according to reviews from the public.
The prestigious seal of approval was met with delight by the owners who said it wouldn't have been possible without their 'wonderful staff' at the Isle of Cumbrae spot.
The Round Island Cafe posted on Facebook: "Absolutely delighted to have been awarded the Tripadvisor 2022 Travellers Choice Award this means we are in the top 10% restaurants worldwide. Thank you to all your reviews they do make a difference

The Stuart Street venue is also rated as the best cafe and restaurant in Millport boasting 4.5 stars from 171 reviews.
