The Cincinnati Bengals have provided a rollercoaster of reactions over the first few weeks of the season.
Few will ever be as positive as the ones exiting the team’s 35-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Joe Burrow and Co. cruised to a 21-0 lead and never really looked back as each of Burrow’s big three weapons at wideout had massive games. That helped compensate for the fact the defense was hurting while missing Logan Wilson and DJ Reader.
Here’s a look at some of the best reactions from fans and media alike after the win before the team starts prepping for a divisional encounter with the Browns.
Joe Burrow: 481 yards
Tyler Boyd: 155 yards
Ja’Marr Chase: 130 yards
Tee Higgins: 93 yards
DEFENSE: NO TOUCHDOWNS ALLOWED IN THE SECOND HALF THIS SEASON
IF WE AINT THE GREATEST THEN WE HEADED FOR IT

And the second half defense allowed ZERO points

Bengals with that winning record and tied for first place.

There are few things as a sports fan more enjoyable than being a football fan during the 4th quarter when your team is winning and the outcome isn’t in doubt.
I had fun.

Bengals win, 35-17.
Cincinnati has its best offensive performance. Defense holds strong in second half.
Your Bengals now improve to 4-3 on the year with two games to play before the bye week.

Great win, great performance. Offense on fire in the first half, Joe Boy iridescent, and the defense does it AGAIN in the second half.
4-3. On to Cleveland and MNF.

Bengals STILL HAVE NOT ALLOWED a second half touchdown. Did not allow a Score today. This is the first time this has happened in the last 25 years. The bengals defense is fr.

Bengals look prepared and take care of business on both sides of the ball, outclassing a team they were clearly better than for the first time this year

Joe Burrow with 480+ passing yds and 3 pass TD today.

The #Bengals are only the third NFL team in the last 50 years to go 7 straight games without allowing a second half TD.

Burrow finishes with a sparkling .6 EPA/play on 29.6 total EPA on the game, a deeper than we're used to 8.9 yard average depth of target, and a 17.3% completion percentage over expected.
All of those are extremely good.
— Jake Liscow (@JakeLiscow) October 23, 2022
Just like that.
The Bengals have won four of their last five games.
Momentum is the word Zac Taylor used this week. #Bengals

Say what you want about how depleted Atlanta's defense is but the Bengals offense looked like the best unit in the league today. Look at the scores around the league. Good teams dominate at home against a weaker opponent.
Joe Burrow made sure the Bengals did that today.
