Joe Burrow’s injury, of course, is the biggest headline and will remain as such for the foreseeable future. Just Wednesday, he participated in the team’s walkthrough and then revealed his current plan and hopes for returning to 100 percent health.

As noted by Zac Taylor and others, Burrow was a full-go during Wednesday’s walkthrough but don’t be surprised if he’s not getting every rep on Thursday and Friday. Burrow himself says he thinks, barring a setback, that he can keep healing the calf issue as the team plays games. That will require fickle in-week management before some good luck during games. But the plan does set up nicely to possibly have him fully 100 percent by after the mid-season bye.
