Ben Stokes will take the time after this Ashes series to have “serious conversations” about solving his long-standing knee issue, with surgery a possibility as he sets his sights on winning the Urn back in Australia in 2025.
Stokes has been managing the issue with his left knee for years, but the problem has worsened over the last six months with the all-rounder struggling to bowl by the back end of the winter’s New Zealand tour.
