Belly slides, dancing and beer - how Man City players celebrated FA Cup win vs Manchester United

The party has started for Manchester City's stars and it's bound to go on for quite some time.

City were triumphant in the FA Cup final over fierce rivals Manchester United on Saturday and are now just a Champions League final win away from equalling United's historic achievement of winning a treble. Ilkay Gundogan was the hero as he once again delivered when it mattered most and scored either side of a Bruno Fernandes penalty to secure a 2-1 win.

With the Champions League final against Inter to come in a week's time, Jack Grealish was under the impression that the players would have their noses straight back to the grindstone on Sunday after Saturday night's celebrations. "I'm sure we'll have a good night tonight and then straight back on it tomorrow and Monday for a massive game next week," he told the BBC.

So it must have come as a great relief to him and all his teammates when manager Pep Guardiola revealed his players would now get two days off before heading to Istanbul on Thursday for the final. With such generous leeway, the party is bound to be a special one.

It's a good job the Blues are down in London as, according to Guardiola, City drank all the alcohol in Manchester after being crowned Premier League champions but the City stars had no trouble finding any at Wembley as champagne was soon handed out around the players, with goalkeepers Ederson and Scott Carson taking the opportunity to sip it out of the FA Cup's lid.

After celebrating with supporters, the players headed for the changing rooms where a video from the FA Cup Twitter account showed Kyle Walker, sporting a blue afro wig, demanding music. "Queue the music! Get the music on! I want music! I want music!" he screamed.

Grealish also posted a video on social media in which he shouted 'get it down ye!' before taking a massive swig of beer. Kitman Brandon Ashton was also filmed sliding on his belly through the dressing room. No doubt there will be more wild celebrations to come.
