A second person has passed away following a three-car crash in Bellshill that left another woman dead.
Mohammed Rashid, the husband of Shamim Rashid, 66, who passed away shortly after the crash, was rushed to hospital following the collision but has now sadly died.
The 70-year-old was a passenger in the car with his wife when it was involved in a collision on the A725 Bellshill Bypass on August 30 with two other vehicles. The couple leaves behind three children.

The tragic news was announced by the Lanarkshire Mosque.
Loved ones previously took to social media to pay tribute to Shamim who was described as a 'beautiful soul'.
One person wrote: "A beautiful chapter ended in a very tragic way. She was very humble & smiling and a very supporting beautiful soul."
Another added: "She was a wonderful person very loving and caring."
Police previously launched an appeal for information and dashcam footage as part of their probe into the crash.
Sergeant Gemma Blackadder previously said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Shamim. Our enquiries into the crash are ongoing and anyone with information or dashcam footage should contact officers on 101 quoting incident 2323 of 30 August, 2022.”
