Belfast Christmas Market placed second on the list after Lincoln in England.
Considered costs included in the study ranged from entry price, average attraction price, average local parking cost for 6+ hours, and an additional average nightly rate for an Airbnb stay in the area.
With a total average cost of £151.61, Belfast has proved itself to be a popular choice for those hoping to save money on their festive excursions.
Pikl Insurance said: "Belfast features next in the roundup, with an abundance of affordable festive cheer to be had in Northern Ireland’s capital city.
"Located in the central City Hall Gardens, the markets attract realms of crowds every year, and they welcome stalls from local businesses too.
"Impressively, all-day parking within reach of the market costs just £1, plus entry to the stalls is free.
"The average attraction price of £11.61 reflects the array of family activities available to enjoy, including a vintage helter skelter, a Santa train, and an observation wheel."
