BBC Strictly's Rose Ayling-Ellis stuns with new look while being supported over 'separating' incident

Rose Ayling-Ellis has dazzled fans with her new look but her latest Instagram post was actually flooded with support after she revealed that she had suffered an infuriating incident. The former Strictly Come Dancing champion stepped out this week at film premiere and ditched her usual soft make-up looks for something more heavy and rock-inspired.

In a series of snaps posted to Instagram, Rose could be seen sporting a mustardy green pair of leather trousers which she teamed with a sheer lacy blouse and a black leather jacket. But it was her make-up that gave her appearance a completely different look.

The former EastEnders actress, who played Frankie Carter in the BBC One soap, donned a heavy smoky eye featuring smudged black eyeliner on her upper and lower eyelids while her lips had been washed with deep red lippy which matched her freshly manicured nails. Meanwhile, her long blonde locks had been given the crimping treatment.

But as fans gushed over the new look, others were disappointed to read about Rose's experience at the premiere as she said: "It is my first time to a film premiere because they provided subtitles and BSL interpreter, kudos to them!" However, she added: "But they put me and all the other deaf guests in a separate screening room…"

The star, who was heavily praised for raising awareness for the deaf community when she became the first deaf content on and winner of Strictly in 2021, went on: "It’s a slow process, we still got a long way to go. Deaf cinema-goers should be able to have the same experience as hearing fans all over the country, I can’t even go to my local cinema.

"I don’t get to experience the privilege of being able to join the hype of the newest blockbuster release or seeing the latest Star Wars or my favourite directors films on screen whenever I want… We do have a LONNNGG way to go." However, Rose did round off her post: "But! Happy thought, just look at this outfit!"

@emmasmemoirs said: "Not a separate room. Subtitles can be used by everyone! that’s ridiculous. it’s time for change." @mirp13 wrote: "You look absolutely amazing but putting you guys in a separate room is a BIG NO !!! By putting up this post, hopefully, it will get some headlines and not only focus on how amazing you look!"

@christinecooke1947 replied: "Rose you look gorgeous and thanks for voicing how you feel about being put in a different room. Where is the inclusivity in this Like you say a long way to go - people need to listen." @runny_painty_oldie commented: "In a separate room???!!!! Your gorgeous outfit got hidden away too! Obviously still a very long way to go for equality. You are standing for so many, Rose. Keep going and you may get there."

@lauracarterauthor posted: :"Well done for calling this out so gracefully." @janecook3725 typed: "Keep going Rose . Looking absolutely stunning love the outfit." @lilypops added: "Rose your doing an amazing job, breaking down the boundaries, keep going everyone should be inclusive, having two separate screenings is discussing, they should learn from this very quickly, unacceptable. On a better note you looked amazing as you always do."
