Richie Myler has made his Instagram profile private, saying he has been receiving "abusive messages" since his split with Strictly star Helen Skelton. It means only followers he approves will be able to see his posts.
Countryfile presenter Helen, 39, announced in April that her marriage to Leeds Rhinos player Richie, 32, was over, just four months after giving birth to their fourth child, Elise, on December 28. The pair also have two sons, Ernie, seven, and Louis, five, The Manchester Evening News reports.
She posted: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children."

Since then, Helen has left their Leeds family home and moved back with her mum and dad on their farm in the Lake District. Her parents can now help take care of her three kids while she takes on work commitments, such as on Strictly and ITV's Lorraine, where she has joined a new 'Me Time' campaign.
Richie has struck up a new relationship with girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill and recently addressed his followers on social media after receiving unpleasant comments and messages. He said he was switching his Instagram page to private so he could keep his personal life out of the public glare, and would be removing followers "one by one".
He wrote: "I've decided to put my profile private from now on. If you are on here to share my photos or stories of me and my life maliciously to other people or waste your time sending me abusive messages please just unfollow me.
"I'm going to start removing people from my account one by one, so if you are a genuine rugby fan and I accidentally remove you I apologise in advance and will accept you back! Thank you Richie."
It follows Richie sharing a picture of his three children watching him play rugby along with his mum, Margaret Myler. A second snap showed the two boys stood with their dad on the pitch smiling.
Richie limited the comments on the post, which he captioned "Grateful", as he has done with all his posts following the break up with Helen. It means only certain people can comment, including his mum, who wrote: "Amazing time had by all."
