Barcelona beat Real Madrid to 'next Pedri' signing with €100m release clause

Barcelona have confirmed the signing of teenage midfielder Pablo Torre, beating competition from rivals Real Madrid to secure his signature.

The 18-year-old midfielder – who has been dubbed as the ‘next Pedri’, despite being the same age as the Barca star and Spain international – has joined from Racing Santander.

Barca have completed the signing for an initial £4.1million but attainable add-ons have taken the total value of the transfer up to £16.5million.
