Aussies in strong start in scrap to keep PGA Tour cards

Cam Davis has ended the wildest round of his career with a glimmer of hope of snapping a horror run of six straight missed cuts in America.

One of only two Australians in the field, Davis opened with a five-under-par 66 at the PGA Tour's Biltmore Championship in Asheville, North Carolina.
