At least four people have died and scores injured after Bangladeshi security forces clashed with supporters of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday.

The violence escalated as a new political party, formed by students who spearheaded the uprising against Ms Hasina last August, announced a march towards Gopalganj district.
