IMPHAL: The JD (U), which has become a strong force in Manipur ahead of the crucial state assembly polls, has come down heavily on BJP strongman and Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for his craftsmanship of breaking up political parties.
“Sarma has been a past master of breaking up parties not only in Manipur but elsewhere also in the northeast,” JD (U) general secretary and in-charge of northeast, Aftaque Ahmed Khan, said in a statement.
