CCTV footage shows a car driving close to Ashley Dale’s home only shortly before the 28-year-old was gunned down in her own back garden.
Officers investigating the fatal shooting released the video in the hopes someone could help them identify the car, bringing them closer to solving the horrific killing.
Merseyside Police previously said they did not believe Ashley was the intended target of the attack, which happened at around 12.40am on Sunday morning.
