Arthur Melo is still a Juventus player but the Arsenal transfer target has been praising a potential future teammate, Gabriel Jesus.
The 25-year-old lauded his fellow Brazilian after Jesus scored in the Gunners' 4-0 thrashing of London rivals Chelsea to extend their winning run in pre-season to four victories. Arsenal's new No.9, who recently became part of Mikel Arteta' s team after completing a stunning £45million transfer from Manchester City, bagged the Gunners' opening goal in Florida after just 15 minutes, as Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Albert Sambi Lokonga also got the scoresheet to humiliate Thomas Tuchel 's side.
Jesus' effort was a lovely dink over Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and Arthur was impressed by his compatriot's performance, as Jesus netted his fourth goal in pre-season. As the ex-City striker posted an image of himself celebrating on Instagram, the Juventus midfielder replied with an applause emoji to show his support.
