Arsenal fans have been waking up each day eager to be met by some exciting transfer news, but I doubt they expected to learn that Omari Hutchinson is set to join London rivals, Chelsea this summer.
However, that's exactly what was doing the rounds this morning as various reports started to confirm the move. Hutchinson is viewed as one of the most promising youngsters within the club's Hale End academy, having been a standout at U18 and U21 levels.
His impressive development, along with some eye-catching performances, have led to the 18-year-old being involved in first-team activities such as training and pre-season fixtures. He also made the senior substitutes bench on nine occasions during the 2021/22 campaign.
