Marquinhos is set to join Norwich on loan for the remainder of the season football.london understands. The 19-year-old arrived from Sao Paulo in the summer and surprised many with a quick start in which he scored and assisted on his senior debut against FC Zurich.
Since then though, the Brazilian has found game time hard to come by managing just one minute in the Premier League and 79 in the Europa League. With the arrival of Leandro Trossard from Brighton Arsenal are now well stocked in the forward positions and it was felt the best thing for Marquinhos' development was to send him out on loan where he would play.
The 19-year-old is travelling up to Norwich today in order to complete the move. The hope is that the deal will be sealed before within the next 24 hours.
