Arsenal welcome Juventus to the Emirates Stadium to play their final scheduled game of the mid-season break to prepare for the Premier League’s restart. Massimiliano Allegri has chosen a relatively experimental team, but Mikel Arteta has welcomed more starters back into the fold.
Aaron Ramsdale and Matt Turner both return but the Arsenal No. 1 gets the nod having not played a minute of football for England. Karl Hein, therefore, drops to the bench. The back four remains unchanged from the victory over AC Milan.
Ben White continues at right-back having won the player of the month award for November. Gabriel Magalhaes, Rob Holding and Kieran Tierney complete the back four but there is still no sign of Oleksandr Zinchenko in the matchday squad and William Saliba remains in Qatar at the World Cup with France.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka makes his first appearance since the World Cup. His Switzerland side were torn apart by Goncalo Ramos and Portugal and travelled straight to Dubai to link up with the team.
Arsenal see their starting midfield reunite with Xhaka joining both Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard. The Norwegian will hope to continue his goalscoring form after claiming two goals, although one Reiss Nelson is trying hard to claim it, against Milan.
Nelson partners Fabio Vieira and Eddie Nketiah once again in the forward line. Nketiah will hope that he can add another goal to his mid-season audition as he looks to replace the injured Gabriel Jesus for the foreseeable future until he returns.
On the bench is the typical roster of young stars plus the likes of Cedric Soares, Turner and Marquinhos. Lino Sousa, Ethan Nwaneri and Amario Cozier-Duberry will hope to get off the bench and earn more priceless experience off the bench.
There is then a nine-day break between now and Boxing Day when the Gunners welcome West Ham United. Although there could be room for another behind-closed-doors friendly in that time.
