Two people were arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences after police observed a suspected drug deal.
Merseyside Police arrested two people after observing a suspected drug deal at a house on Great Georges Road in Waterloo on Wednesday, August 24. Officers from Merseyside Police's Operation Pelican arrested a 48-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man on suspicion of drug supply offences.
The news was broken on Merseyside Police's Sefton page. Officers arrested the man, from Crosby, after observing the suspected drug deal at the property.

A number of wraps of class A drugs including crack cocaine and heroin were found on the man following a police search. The man was dealt with by an out of court disposal.
Because the officers saw the transaction at a house they proceeded to raid the property. A 48-year-old woman was also arrested.
Both people remain in custody and will be questioned by detectives while enquiries are ongoing.
